Classes and Groupings
All our classes focus on developing a basic level of fitness as well as teaching body awareness through gymnastic activities.
All classes follow a similar format and incorporate simple acrobatic gymnastics as well as teaching individual gymnastic skills.
We have 4 levels of classes which will cater for all ages and abilities.
'Young beginners' classes which is especially for 4-6 yr old beginners, this is a shorter 45 minute session.
'Beginners' is for children who are starting gymnastics at a slightly older age.
'Novice' sessions are 60 minutes and are suitable for for those with some experience who are not yet ready to move to
intermediate level work.
'Intermediate' for those who have achieved at least badge 2.
'Advanced' for those who have achieved badge 1 and are working towards bronze, silver and gold badges. Gymnasts are invited
to attend this class.
Once we have seen your child for an assessment session your name will be added to the waiting list of the class which
we feel will be most suitable.

session will be £7 per class. There is also an annual club membership fee of £25 which includes membership and insurance with
British Gymnastics. This is payable in September or on first joining the club. All members now need to enrol directly with
BG to ensure they are insured for the year.
Our recreational gymnastic terms begin in September, January and April and generally coincide with the school breaks.
We usually begin enrollment for new members 2-4 weeks before the start of the new term. For existing members,
places need to be reserved 4 weeks ahead of the new term. It is not possible to be added to our waiting list without
coming to an assessment. Once you are on our waiting list we will contact you when spaces become available.
Attending Your First Session
When you are invited to join one of our classes children should wear the club uniform, which for girls is a blue club leotard
and for boys a black leotard and blue shorts. These are available directly from us and can be bought at the beginning of
your first class or once you have been offered a place. All children work in bare feet. All jewelry should be removed, including
earings and bracelets of any kind. Girls may wear leggins or shorts over the top of their leotard if they wish. Please arrive
changed for your session as we do not have changing facilities available. There is a toilet available if you do need to change
as a one-off, but we request that where possible children arrive ready for their session. Children should bring a drink of
water with them to the session. All children should be dropped off and picked up directly by yourselves. They are not permitted
to leave the gym without seeing a parent/friend who they know is taking them home. Please come to the door to collect them
personally. If for any reason the named parent/guardian is not going to be collecting you must inform the coach at the start
of the session. Please also ensure that your child knows who they are going home with. Unfortunately we do not have space
in the hall for you to stay and watch during the sessions, you can however watch through the window in the door. If you do
have other children with you please keep them under control in the school buildings.
We reserve the right to cancel any session during the scheduled term dates. We will always try and reschedule
any lost sessions.
